| Update 1.1.2 sent to Apple! Published: November 6, 2008 We are happy to announce that Noise.io Pro update version 1.1.2 has been submitted to Apple and will soon be available from App Store. Important! The update will reset all the presets to factory! Please remember to use the "Export All" button from the Manage Presets menu to export *all User banks* at once. They will *not* be listed in Noise.io's website, so when you will be given the code after "export all", write it down carefully or make a screenshot of it by pressing your device's Lock + Home buttons simultaneously. After installing the update: - re-enter your username and password in device's Settings - go to Manage Presets - select "User banks" category - enter the code you've been given after "export all" (which always begins with "a" letter) in the "Create/Rename bank" field - press "Import All" button. Noise.io is the only and ultimate realtime/sequenced single-voice* stereo synthesizer for iPhone OS. Noise.io is NOT a music production studio. One preset is one single yet complex melodical sequence or instrument. There's no way to layer up sounds, nor to create a full-blown song with Noise.io - it's simply not it's purpose. Noise.io is a synthesizer which takes iPhone's processing capabilities to the maximum - you will create sounds for latter recording and processing them in your favorite DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) such as Cubase, Ableton etc. | Noise.io will be very useful for any musician since it is the first professional-sounding synthesizer which fits in a pocket and can be used instantly - anywhere. Noise.io's built-in sequencers allows any melodic idea (yes it supports triple beats, any pattern length, swing tempo) to be recorded and played instantly - with the use of ControlSurface and Accelerometer support. One of the major additions in v. 1.1 of Noise.io is the ability to map pitch scales to the Control Surface. There's a huge selection of available pitch scales (major, minor, arabic, diminished, aelian etc.) available and easily expanded later (leave requests in the forum in you didn't find the desired scale).
This video shows the new factory preset bank ("Across the Kaos"), now Noise.io will ship with 90 factory presets.
