Hi,
Long time since I posted here but I finally got a 3.5mm male/male cord for recording this track directly to my computer. Somehow it sounds very odd specially in on the lower frequenties and it sounds very mono-isch. All in all it really misses warmth in it but that´s the record program´s fault I'll record it later again sometime.
Now about the track. It's been completly done with noise.io and beatmaker, no single computer was involved in this project!! and off course the standard apple earjacks. Every sound you'll here, the kick, bassline, percussion, hi hat, synth etc. has been made with
noise.io except for the symbal wich is a standard sample in beatmakers library cuz that's almost impossible to generate out of a synthesizer if you don't want a crappy sound. It took a lot of pain and sweat making this track because of the many transitions and filters-edits that have been made. Beatmaker is very limited when it comes to how much mb ram you can use for your samples so I had to work around that part by recording it constantly over and over again. You also can't just edit your recordings from noise.io so it's very difficult to make a track with beatmaker leaning entirely on just the recordings of noise.io. Now I could go and made it with the standard samples in beatmaker but that just wasn´t the challange. It's more to show what you can make with noise.io itself even if it's not intended as an drum synthesizer wich it actually also is! If you´re interested in some of the sound you can find my soundbanks in the soundbank catagory. More will be coming including a good house/club soundbank.
The sound quallity is just not good so keep that in mind as stated above. Hope you enjoy and I hope that a lot of people can hear the potential that noise.io has and purchase their copy in the app store
