| Update 1.1.2 sent to Apple! Published: November 6, 2008 We are happy to announce that Noise.io Pro update version 1.1.2 has been submitted to Apple and will soon be available from App Store. Important! The update will reset all the presets to factory! Please remember to use the "Export All" button from the Manage Presets menu to export *all User banks* at once. They will *not* be listed in Noise.io's website, so when you will be given the code after "export all", write it down carefully or make a screenshot of it by pressing your device's Lock + Home buttons simultaneously. After installing the update: - re-enter your username and password in device's Settings - go to Manage Presets - select "User banks" category - enter the code you've been given after "export all" (which always begins with "a" letter) in the "Create/Rename bank" field - press "Import All" button. ***This is not a final feature list. We can still change it a bit (adding something) and of course we will add more pictures soon!***
Before proceeding to the Feature List - we would like to underline that Noise.io is a completely new kind of a musical instrument.
Noise.io does not reflect or copy any existing synth structure, design or principles.
We've designed Noise.io to become the true 21st century synth. So you won't find any "VCO" or "VCF"-like abbreviations.
There are no knobs! ("omg! synth with no knobs?! how can that be?!"
)
We've tried to simplify everything down, in order to let the musicians create, instead of reading manuals. And - thanks to the iPhone excellent features - we've designed several new interface elements, which are through all the Noise.io's Editor. You can read about them in the Highlights section.

...there are so many features that it is quite possible that we've forgot something | |
...any questions? Ask them in our forum!
To tell the truth, at the moment we ourselves at Amidio have not yet explored all the sonic possibilities of Noise.io. However the range of sounds is broadened by Noise.io's monophonic nature. So creating multi-layered "mega chords" will be possible only if you record separate pitches with the same envelopes and then layer them up in a DAW (digital audio workstation).
But, Noise.io is suitable for almost all other things:
Please remember that after creating a sound, you can fire up Pitch Sequencer and create a melody using that instrument!
