| Noise.io Pro 1.2 Submitted to Apple Published: December 20, 2008 Dear Noise Addicts, This new record screen is not too beautiful, but we had to make it look like this, to reserve memory (which is taken by bitmaps easily) Maybe we'll change it later. Currently it works and it does what it says, anyway ;) "303 Pocket Noise" will be released in the beginning of 2009. Read More... |

| 1.1.4 - Another bug with 2.2 SW found :( Published: November 27, 2008 Dear Noise addicts, We were quite unhappy to notice that 2.2 iPhone software version not only slowed down the graphics on Noise.io (which was corrected in Noise.io 1.1.4), but also it almost freezes the sequencers (which we didn't notice at first). Amidio is not responsible for that. It's the new firmware that makes the sequencers behave like this. Meanwhile, we've submitted 1.1.5 to Apple, correcting that issue, and we hope it will be accepted soon. Read More... |

| Home >> Features >> Overview |
***This is not a final feature list. We can still change it a bit (adding something) and of course we will add more pictures soon!***
Before proceeding to the Feature List - we would like to underline that Noise.io is a completely new kind of a musical instrument.
Noise.io does not reflect or copy any existing synth structure, design or principles.
We've designed Noise.io to become the true 21st century synth. So you won't find any "VCO" or "VCF"-like abbreviations.
There are no knobs! ("omg! synth with no knobs?! how can that be?!"
)
We've tried to simplify everything down, in order to let the musicians create, instead of reading manuals. And - thanks to the iPhone excellent features - we've designed several new interface elements, which are through all the Noise.io's Editor. You can read about them in the Highlights section.

...there are so many features that it is quite possible that we've forgot something | |
...any questions? Ask them in our forum!
To tell the truth, at the moment we ourselves at Amidio have not yet explored all the sonic possibilities of Noise.io. However the range of sounds is broadened by Noise.io's monophonic nature. So creating multi-layered "mega chords" will be possible only if you record separate pitches with the same envelopes and then layer them up in a DAW (digital audio workstation).
But, Noise.io is suitable for almost all other things:
Please remember that after creating a sound, you can fire up Pitch Sequencer and create a melody using that instrument!
